She is a professor in the Biological and Biochemical Processes Technology Department at Simon Bolivar University, her teaching activities are centered in the area of bioengineering and additionally she is a doctoral student. She earned the Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2010 and the Chemical Engineering's degree in 2002 at Simon Bolivar University, Caracas, Venezuela.
